Its a PARTY....for ME!!!

Well another year has come and past! I turned the big 2-6 last Friday. I have decided that birthdays are just another day once you get older. It was more fun for Addy on my birthday, she wanted a horse cake so bad (for me). My mom had asked me what kind of cake I wanted and Addy had already told me I should get a horse cake, so that's what I said, a horse cake! Beverly always does such a good job and her cakes are sooo yummy! We had taco's on the disc and they were so good. If you haven't ever been invited for them you better kiss up to my mom so she will invite you for dinner cause they are so great, everyone should at least get to try them once! Here are a few pictures from my party!

Now onto the house...again! I still have not got stuff back together! I don't want to decorate! After all the cleaning and mess I was in with my house being a wreck I just don't want to decorate and put stuff up! I want all new stuff first of all and since I have no money for that I just will have nothing up! :) But last Saturday Taylor talked me into getting some decor up! We went and got these twig things and put them up....I cant decide if I really like them but Tay thinks their wonderful! I'm still deciding but they were a pain to get up and stay and I am NOT taking them down! (don't mind the mess fridge top, I am running out of space inside the cupboards)

A little remodeling :)

Tyson and I decided that since our house hasn't sold yet that we should maybe do a little remodeling! This I thought would be fun, I get to pick out new stuff, paint, floors, the works. I was dead wrong! I HATE remodeling! Seriously this was the hardest two weeks ever! I hate things being in a mess. My house is usually picked up and not having it clean was a killer for me! We started with painting. It took four days to do this and it wasn't too bad then came the floors. We should have moved out, because that would have been easier! I figured they would come in lay the floors, no messes and leave! WRONG! They routed under my baseboards which in the long run saved me lots of money but it was a mess! Anyway long story short, I got it done. Tyson helped me clean yesterday and we put some of our stuff back in our house. Its a work in  progress but once we have everything put back together it will be so nice! Here are a few pictures. I forgot to take before pictures so I stole a few off the website that has our house for sell.

I know that this might not be anything special to most people but we are so glad we did it. I think it makes it look so much better and we finally got rid of the white carpet. Now if I could just get it out of the bedrooms it would be good, maybe one day we will! :) Anyway this is the only thing that is going on with us right now, we are working and putting a house back together! 

Make-up!

So as many of you know I am not one for messes. I have a really hard time letting Addy be a little kid and make messes. I am starting to get better about this. My mom had given Addy some make-up for Christmas and she has been wanting to put some on for a while. I finally decided to let her play. I guess I need to give her a lesson or two on how to put on make-up cause after about 15 minutes she has used all of the make-up and looked like a rodeo clown!

Christmas 2011

This year Tyson was off for Christmas. It was the second time in 6 years he has been off. We were so excited to be able to spend the holiday with Tyson and him not having to run out the door. This year we got together with my mom's side of the family and had our usual little Christmas eve party. We always have a good time and great food. Then we headed over with the Barney clan and hung out with them for a little while, opened out P.J.'s and tackled Santa. (This is something that Tyson's dad has always done and its such a fun thing for the kids). Then we headed home because I was so sick I couldn't do anything. We put Addy to bed and did our stuff that needed to be done and was in bed by 10:30! We woke up Christmas morning, my family came over to our house so that they could see what Santa brought then we headed to my parents house to open presents. After a few hours in the morning we headed to the Barney's and opened presents with them. After the morning we went home to shower and get ready for the day, by this time I was so sick I went to bed and stayed there for almost a week. It was horrible, I didnt get to visit with any of my family. I missed all the yummy food and the family get-togethers. I finally am feeling better but at one point I wish someone would have shot me. 

Here is a picture over load. I am not very happy that I missed taking pictures of a lot of things that went on over the holiday but I did get a few pictures and here they are.

We had a great holiday. It seems like they just fly by and its always over before you know it. Addy ended up getting spoiled as usual and I know I got everything and some that I wanted. We have great family and always enjoy our time with them! Hopefully next year I wont be sick and miss out on all the fun!
