Thanksgiving/Christmas Party

This year we stay with my family for Thanksgiving. It was the second time since Tyson and I have been married that he has had Thanksgiving off. We all had a great time. Our family always has prime rib and a small turkey for dinner. The food is always delish and the company is even better!

This is a picture after we were done eating.

Some serious coloring going on here.

This year we were able to go to Panguitch for Tyson's families Christmas Party. They usually do it the day after Thanksgiving so that everyone who comes for Thanksgiving can stay for the Christmas Party. We went to Panguitch about 2 and they were starting the Gingerbread houses. Addy LOVED this. We did them last year at my moms but this year it was only for the kids and she got to do whatever she wanted. We helped her a little with putting the icing on but other than that she did it all by herself.

Tyson's little brother Kaden and his house!

After the Gingerbread houses we went down to the "Flying M" and had our dinner. Ty's aunt's family owns this so we usually get the royal treatment! We took up the whole back room! We had some yummy food, sat and visited and then Santa came! Addy was so excited that she was going to see Santa. She had talked about it all day! Even that night she was so excited and kept running to the windows to see if she could see his sleigh coming in, but once he got there it was a whole different story! He walked in the door and she grabbed my arms and wouldnt let go. Santa brings a little gift for each of the kids who come and sit on his lap. I knew Addy would be one of the first ones called because "Santa's little helper" put it in the bag. "Santa's Little Helper" had put it at the bottom of the bag so that Addy would get to watch all the other kids and be excited but when Santa got there he switched bags and transferred all the gifts from our bag to his bag and so that put Addy on the top! So long story short, Addy was the second one and freaked out! She cried and cried and cried! She did not want to sit on his lap. She had already seen Santa this year and she was fine. She loved every minute of it but this time she was a nervous wreck. I actually had to walk her up there and hold her while she talked to Santa. It is such a fun tradition and I hope they continue to do this party. Santa brought Addy the purple pig set with the bath tub and the baby pigs that she had already asked him for.... SPOILED!!!

Here are a few pictures from the party!

Santa trying to tell Addy that he brought her a gift and she really didnt care to much!

Addy finally smiling with her present! She is so SPOILED it seriously is scary!!!

So excited! She has been asking for this pig set since she seen it in wal-mart a month ago. Well her mean mom wouldnt buy it that night cause they are spendy for such a stupid thing and when Ty and I went back to get it for her of course they were all gone. We searched every where for the purple one cause of course she couldnt have the pink ones! So we ended up ordering this one online and she is so excited about it. I love how something so simple and "Stupid" to me can please her! She hasnt put it down since she got it! Needless to say she was a happy little girl at the end of the night!

The finished product! She did pretty good. Ty hot glued the house together and gave it to her and she went to town. Like I said we put the icing on for her and she did the rest. I think she did a good job! I cant wait to make the houses with my family!!!
